So Im very new to HB and did my 1st brew in April (Festival Kit) and then read @clibit AG small batch so jumped in and have done 4 small brews, my issue I only have a 14lt pan but want to do a large brew for my 23ltr FV, I would prefer to do something other than a kit, is it possible to do a brew and then use water to get the wort to 21ltr, Is it possible to do an extract brew and if so where can I find a recipe to guide me, I presume its not achievable with AG to get 21ltr from such a small pan but I hear extract is better than kits, thanks in advance

i had the same issue mate, if you check the the "biab concentrate" thread in the general discussion i got some great advice from the guys on here

Clibit is that the same as your Texas two step or was that a different technique again?

Different. The two step is two AG brews added to the same fv. This is an AG base with extract and water added. You hop the AG for the full amount.

Doing maxi- biab (making a concentrated wort then dilute in the FV) I usually find I can do 23L with a 20L pot so I think you could probably do about 16L using a 14L pot
