I just opened a bottle of bock and it looked a bit odd then left a long slimey thread of beer as I stopped pouring. Guessing this is the ropy effect of pediococus, thought maybe the bottle was an ex-sour bottle but a brewdog bottle on its first re-use is the same. Wonder if it's the whole batch, bit amusing since I deliberately soured the other half of the batch.
Wonder if my wheat beer is going to go the same way, if so it's now fermenter time. Oh, I was probably going to infect my usual FV anyway on Wednesday since I'll be pitching Roeselare blend in primary.
