aww a dabble back to my homeland actually sierra nevada was right up the road from us great brewery they produce some of the better ales ive had in the US and everyone loves them... but that was before i had real British ales...but they have a special edition one with hops they grow themselves at the brewery that was superb got to taste while touring the place. If your interested in some other good California ales try to get your hands on some from laganitas brewing co. they put out some really nice ones do a good ipa.

I've had torpedo and pale ale, how are the others? :)

My opinions:
I like the pale ale, it's what I think of when I think of Cascade hops. The porter is alright, not a fantastic example of the style though. Their seasonal Celebration is quite good, and I definitely recommend trying the Northern and Southern Hemisphere Harvest(s) if you get the chance. They were the first wet-hopped beers I've tried; definitely a different kind of hoppiness.

I've had a couple of their seasonals. Autumn tumbler is a great brown ale, definately worth a try if you come across it and summer fest is a nice refreshing lager, nothing special though :thumb:
I recently had a Southern Hemisphere which is a South Pacific fresh hop pale ale (not sure how they managed that :wha: ), which was nice very hoppy & like a BIG version of their Pale Ale but with plenty of fresh hop flavour and aroma.

I've got one of thier 750ml 30th Annicersay Stouts lying down for a special occasion

Looking on their website the Ruthless Rye sounds good & looks a great colour.... mmmmm beer!
