So glad to hear that Chester is okay and for yourselves as well. I imagine you were pretty well shaken up with the ordeal, but not half as much as Chester, by the sounds of it.
We love Erdigg, though we’ve not been able to get there for a while. It’s only about 20 miles from where we live and is one of The National Trust places we’d regularly visit with the pooch and the children.View attachment 34298
Out this morning round Erddig. This is the "cup and saucer"..
Just in front of where I'm standing the river reappears from a tunnel. The original use of the cup and saucer was to force water up to the big house,I think! If you fell in the hole, where do you end up?
Kia, enjoying a cold cider

This is Jet with a "stick" It is an oldish Photo of him and remarkably he has just made it to 17 yo (on May 22nd). Obviously has arthtritis and his days must be nearly up though I have thought that for 3 or 4 years
So treasure your dogs because where once we would walk for miles and then play ball or ragger when we got home we are now down to 200 yards 3 times a day and going walks without him feels "traitorous" or just plain wrong. So enjoy while you can
