That's nothing, when my staffy Spike was about 8 or 9 he chased and caught a rabbit with mixy and I had to pull its head out of his throat as he was choking on it, what a wonderful walk that was 6:30am and freezing cold. Ah happy days 😖
Nearly had that last week as he got up on the garden last week and tore a lump of fur of our rabbit which has the run of the grass during the day's.

Lovely dog, girl in the street has one unfortunately it's a bad brute. It attacks dogs. I blame the owner the thing is locked up 23hrs a day. Sad thing it's a beautiful dog.
Thanks mate, I see it all too often though, they are a strange breed don’t get me wrong, I ignored all advice not to take him out until 12-14 weeks and had him out at 8 weeks as they need socialising more than some others.
He is great with my 11yr old son and is a big softie but can be a stubborn b****r guarding the garden, a Jack Russell bit him on the nose when we were out walking (it was off leash) and he just thought, great a playmate and pinned it down with his paw whilst wagging his tail, the owner complained to me!!!
You definitely need to put the hours C39EE16A-D607-4F10-A858-A715EB68EB47.jpeg in early with these guys.

My Airedale terrier Elsa is much the same. She is brilliant but likes to think she is the boss. When I call her back when she's of the lead she will stop about 15 yards away and make me walk to her to put the lead on.
The black German shepherd I was talking about attacked her when she was younger and she hasn't forgot. It kind of changed her a bit. She is more weary of other dogs now but when she sees that dog she goes mad. I would say giving a chance she would make a go for it. That's something I don't want my dog doing as I too have a young family.IMG_20200502_201344635_HDR.jpg

She is a cracker
Yeah, Chase was attacked by a Welsh Collie at our caravan park at Blair Atholl (again off leash) and has never forgotten it, every Collie is a potential threat
