Should I brew a Flanders Red?

Up until today, I'd heard good things about Flanders Red Ales but never actually tried one. Now, after a bottle of Duchesse de Bourgogne, I'm interested.

So, a few questions if I may:

How likely is it to get it right the first time (apparently it needs to be left a year before sampling)?

How much does it change with age (e.g. Orval is very different when young to when it's old)?

Is Wyeast 3763 the only game in town?

Of course you should make one, it's what homebrew's all about!

It will certainly change with age, make lots and open one a month - if your memory's like mine you might want to write your tasting notes down.

No idea about the yeast.
