So my Dad would like a bottle of my last brew but he lives in Germany. Is it problematic to ship a bottle with it being thrown and sloshed around?

The other thing that worries me slightly is that instead of priming the beer with 5gr per liter, I added 5gr per bottle, so basically per 500ml... I've got it in swing top bottles so nothing has happened so far, but would shipping on of those increase the pressure? Or is 5gr of sugar per bottle not actually much.

Shipping shouldn't cause any probs, and if it's fully conditioned it should be past bottle bomb stage by now although it may resemble champagne when he opens it lol. Have you checked the regulations on posting alcohol btw

Good point, I didn't even think there were any lol! Any idea where I would find that?
