You can get ozone water sterilizers quite easily- used for swimming pools. Basically they generate ozone in the water which degrades back to oxygen after 30 minutes but before that it'll kill anything. No taste, no rinse, no tainting.

As all the shiny is not affected- has anyone thought of using an ozone generator for sterilization?

Found this http://njmr.com/sparrowhill/Yeast%20Pro ... enance.pdf looks good too

No I have installed them in swimming pool systems though, you can buy them relitively inexpensively from aquatics shops, they work on the principles of utra violet light, however you have to make sure the water being sterilised doesn't contain certain substances, because the ultraviolet light can react with a particular chemical (can't remember which one sorry) to create another particularly nasty chemical (can't remember that one either) not a problem with swimming pools as you are only swimming in the water, but not recommended for drinking.

I will try to find out what the reaction is and post tomorrow if no one else beats me to it.
