Made another one yesterday. This time with not from concentrate cloudy AJ. Frustratingly when I took the AJs out of the fridge I noticed that two of them were apple and pear, someone must have mixed them up on the shelf. I hate it when that happens, ended up with a load of the wrong light bulbs recently for the same reason.

Added pectolase to see if it helps to clear it.

Bubbling nicely.

I did an apple and pear turbo cider a while back wanted to see if i could get an apple cider with a little pear flavour. That was 2 x AJ and 2x AJ&P. It worked out reasonably well, will do it again sometime.

Bottled it tonight. It formed a crust which sank into the brew over the last few days and the bubbling was more or less stopped.

It stayed cloudy but that's fine by me. FG was .998 so about 8.1 ABV. I gave the missus a sample and she necked it so it must be OK.

The bottles are in a water bath to carbonate for the next week or so.

I'm interested to find out if it does clear. Must admit I thought the pectolase would have done that during fermentation.
