Save the Hobbit, Southampton

Sorry if it's in the wrong place but there's a little pub in Southampton called The Hobbit and it's under threat to rebrand by some Hollywood suits who think they "own" the name.

If you would, go to the Facebook page and like or register on the petition to tell them to Beggar off. (or both)

Just to add balance to the argument, the pub has had illustrations of Elijah Wood in full LOTR costume printed onto promotional materials & Murals in the beer garden of scenes from the LOTR films. While I agree that demanding the pub (which has been trading for 20 years under this name) changes it's name is excessive, they have still clearly broken copyright laws and should have be aware of the consequences! "I didn't know it was illegal" isn't a suitable argument.
