I'm happy with the Winebuddy kit. I have tried more expensive versions but not noticed any significant difference in quality.

I have only made the WineBuddy kit so have nothing to compare it to, having said that we both rate it highly and have made many gallons of it - http://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=49224

I have made the winebuddy kit, Cellar 7, Beaverdale and Kenridge Classic kits. I like the Cellar 7 kit but the Kenridge Classic kit does seem a better all round taste. Ultimately taste is of course, down to personal preference.
