Sanitising gas line

I am thinking this sounds daft, but do I need to sanitise the gas line to my corny? I am thinking not as it will be full of CO2 and so any nasties wouldn't stand a chance, but just wanted to check. If I did have to, where would you stop - regulator, CO2 tank? I think I have answered my own question there (no, don't need to sanitise it), but confirmation would be good if anyone could be so kind.

No sanitising of gas lines required (though I'm sure some clean freak has probably done it). Only the bits that come into contact with your beverage.
