I need inspiration for sarnies.
I am fed up of eating the same two or three combos week after week after week (never happens with beer though :wha: )

Currently going through a corned beef, tomato and piccalilli phase.
I do like a good ham salad as well.
Cheese and onion is a great classic too :thumb:

What do you guys like??
The classics, the weird and wonderful and just downright wrong......I want to know

Tommy saucy sandwich, lemoncurd sandwich, Peanut butter sandwich all good for me :D

Haggis baguette with cranberry sauce (or red currant jelly)

Sausage, Bacon & Mushroom with brown sauce (hot)

Grated Cheese mashed with Ketchup.

Mashed Egg with Cheese and salad cream.

Fish Fingers with Mushy Peas (hot)

Worcester Sauce Crisps.

triple fried egg sandwich based loosely on Dave lister's sarnie out of red dwarf

three slices of bread the middle one buttered both sides.

bread, picalilly (My favoured chutney), fried egg, bread, fried egg, sweet chilli sauce (I am a wuss you can go hot), bread.

you have to eat it by leaning over and starting on the outside or it gets really messy as opposed to just messy

Tuna MAYO ala Unclepumble

Tuna mayo ingredients "Good Tinned tuna, Mayo, fresh Lemon Juice, chopped capers, tom puree, pepper, good slug of Tabasco sauce, salt pepper, smoked paprika, pinch cayenne, small tin sweetcorn, all measured to taste"

Put on good Crusty buttered bread, (none of that flora or margarine ****).

I also love a French Baggette filled with slices of Good Roast ham, (proper stuff from a butchers or home made, not supermarket stuff please), brie cheese & halved grapes.

But the top one has to be my Monday night favourite meal,

Beef Baguette with thick chips

Fry a couple of onions slowly to caramelise, then fry some mushrooms sliced in the same pan, put the onions in with the mushrooms, and pour in a good slug of red wine gravy & Slices of rare Beef, (from sundays roast), when warmed through Pack into a baguette, and serve with a decent portion of thick cut chips fried in beef dripping. Ultimate sandwich in my opinion, but not very cholesterol friendly but heh I don't care it tastes great.

UP

Extra Mature Cheddar, Peanut Butter and Marmite.

Keeping in the spirit of recycling, Marmite is Yeast Extract from beer brewing.

Leftover meat, cheese and tomato relish (homemade of course)

Any combo of good tasting ingredients really.
Including maple syrup and cheese combo

mature cheddar and onion... with a little marmite and white pepper
:D

Try marmite and chicken,or marmite with cheese.
marmite will go with most hot or cold meats and makes a great taste to a sandwich :thumb:
all so try marmite on dark ryvita :thumb:
