Does anyone have a galaxy ace if so how do you un install google maps beacuse it keeps updating and costin me money but i cant find anyway to get rid of or delete it or stop it updating :

From the home screen you should have a menu button that will allow you to select settings.
From here you should be able to select applications. Then you should be able to select manange applications, and from there select Google maps, then you should have the option tp stop updates or delete the app.

: i can get on to the manage apps and onto maps but i only have the choice to press force stop and it wont let me press the uninstall button

First things first, what do you mean by updating. AFAIK if the app isn't on screen I'm pretty sure it doesn't load new map images or anything so shouldn't be costing money.
The things that update a lot(and can therefore cost money for download size) are social media apps like facebook or twitter, you can reduce the frequency that these updates (it's in settings somewhere).
