swmbo's cider is down to 1008 from 1052 5.8% Making this kit it needed 1.5kg of sugar. She likes a dry cider anyone any advice how much sugar to add to the bottles bearing in mind the amount of sugar added at the start of the kit I'm wandering if i add anymore it will be very sweet.

the sugar in the bottle will ferment out anyway. it should be bone dry - use 0.5tsp/pint for a low fizz, and 1tsp/pint for a lager fizz. that's a teaspoon, not the spoon you make the tea with neccessarily but make sure it's the right size, or it'll ruin it :cheers:
