Peeps!
Last posted a couple of weeks back about bottling my first ever home brew batch, how to store it etc.
Well, I stored it in our office for a few days then the missus wanted it out of the house cos it looked like everything in that room was made of beer.
So I put it in the garage and just left it for a few days - opened one bottle to show off in front of the family about five days after bottling - didn't go down to well, flat, cloudy, no real taste etc.
Lesson learned and it's been left since then - until today.
Opened a bottle, nice little gassy sound when the top came off (from the bottle, not me), poured it out .. cracking head ... tasted it ... fecking briliant (well, a lot more brilliant than I thought it would be)!
Whoda thought I could brew lager that was drinkable? Mind you, I did use some real high-tech kit:
Roll on the next brew!
Thanks to all you guys here who helped me with this one!
