They have a right good sale on the Kilner home brew equipment in store atm. I got a load of 500ml bottles for 90p, half a dozen 750ml bottles for £1.05, 500 crown caps at 90p/50, bottle stoppers for £3/12, hydrometer £1.50, trial jar £1.50, thermometer £1.50, bitter kit £7.50. They also had the knock on bottle cappers for £1.50.

Which branch was this?
Sunderland, two branches.

If you got a load of bottles for 90p that's great.

But if they were 90p each...

I'm not sure I would want to pay 90p for an empty bottle when I can buy one in Tesco, Asda, Morrison's etc for £1 that comes filled with beer.

Actually not sure I would pay for one at all, when I can get them free from friends / bars / pubs. Although without the beer.

Just picked up another Lager and a Bitter for £7.50 each.
Tasted my one week old Lager last night, it's going to be great. A bargain for an enormous pouch of liquid malt extract if you ask me !
Oh and a new hydrometer for 90p, Security guard must think I'm dodgy the amount of time I spend at this section in store.
