I'm shopping for ingredients and the shop doesn't seem to have a great deal of lager or pilsner yeasts. I found the saflager 23 which is supposed to be a German strain but it also says it's best for fruity, estery lagers and it has a huge temperature range from 9 to 22 degrees, although 12-15 seem ideal.

I am planning a bitburger clone, so a pilsner, and wonder if this yeast would be suitable at all?
