Wondering if any of you had had this problem. Bought a new Hambleton Bard refill today and when screwed onto the s30 valve nowt is happening. Cylinder is full, checked by pressing center pin, and s30 valve worked perfectly with previous cylinder. Its as if the cylinder is not screwing far enough down to depress the pin. Its not cross threaded. Brass valve, 12mths old. Any ideas?

Sorted. Took the cylinder and valve back to the HBS and there is nothing wrong with either the valve or the cylinder. The cylinder worked perfectly well with a different valve and visa versa. Apparently, according to HBS guy, this happens occasionally were valve and cylinder are bizarrely not compatible. Exchanged the cylinder and all is well. So if it happens to you this may also be the cause.
