Rodent Incursion

Here in North London we have tons of rats. I kept a bunch of homebrew stuff in our shed when we first moved here but everything got chewed, there's now lots I have to store inside. I've heard stories of rats chewing their way into plastic tubs... so I bought a big metal dustbin to store grain in the shed when I got my grain mill last year, the lid doesn't clamp completely tightly so I weight the lid down. Ain't no rat gonna chew through that...

Wasn't sure if it was mice or rats but something chewed right thought the thick plastic crate in my garage containing nuts for the garden birds.
