RO auto shut-off

Hi, I'm not sure if I've put the shut-off valve in the right place so any help would be great. I've attached a video to try and explain what I've done and where I might have gone wrong.

I connected it to a container and when the pressure builds up it just inflated so clearly the shut off isn't working under that pressure at least.
