Mrs. Mole was in Morrison's and noticed some Organic Malt Syrup (Rice) in the reduced section at 39p for a 330ml jar. She bought all 3 jars.

The label says:
This flavourful syrup is made by the traditional malting of cereal grains. Traditional malting produces a rich and delicious flavour and provides a good balance of maltose and complex sugars. Enjoy it straight, as a sweetener in hot drinks and as a topping or spread. Also excellent in cooking and baking.

Ingredients: Rice (72%), sprouted barley, water.

What can I use it for?

As Aleman says stick it in an american lager type brew, it will ferment right out giving you little body, which is y the yanks love it.

Either that you can chuck it into you r normal brew to boost the ABV without adding any flavour or body.
