Evening all... so I've got a penchant for a rhubarby brew.

Think it's gonna be a TC, might whizz it up tomorrow night

Didn't expect to find it in the shops still, good ole Morrison's

Boom now we're taking

I was just gonna chop up the lot (rhubarb and ginger) and simmer for 30 mins, give it a mush up with a tattie masher, strain through a sieve and bung in the FV

Sound alright anyone ?

Raw ginger is very harsh. Peel it, chop into chucks, gently simmer in a stock syrup and bottle/kilner jar

How did you get on with this ?
I’ve grated ginger and tossed raw with Apple Juice and tastes good.
I’ve both boiled and steeped rhubarb in sugar before using , I prefer the latter as seem to get a sweeter rhubarb flavour.
