Hi All,

I am looking forward to relearning all the techniques I have forgotten.

Will be dusting off some of my old equipment, and replacing that, which has long ago perished.

I used to be able to make drinkable, but not good beer. Always tasted 'thin' just like the budget beers from the Supermarket.

Looking forward to making a good beer and seeing what improvements 20 years have brought.

The biggest change I can see is the lack of a local, or any high street Brewing shop.

Guess I will need to trawl through the forum, for recommended suppliers :)

Speak soon

Don't bother, pretend you're starting from scratch.

Best thing I did when I returned to the hobby was to read around the forums, and realise that most of what I did in the past was either wrong or could be vastly improved upon.

Kit beers have advanced considerably while you've been away, so welcome back

Looking forward to cracking open a bottle soon,

I let it sit for 4 weeks (start to finish) in the FV, was fermented out after about 12 days, but wanted to let it really settle and condition. Then another 4 weeks in the bottle (6 days to go),

I bottled one clear bottle, just to see how it would clear. Crystal clear :)

After 20 years can hardly wait the next 6 days ...

Will post a piccy
