The final turned out to be a bit of a one sided affair with the serial giant slayer losing in the final.
Rochefort 10 has been voted the champion beer of the forum for 2018 with westmalle dubbel soundly beaten into second place.
The 3rd place playoff was a one sided affair up until the last day or so where a late surge by Timmy wasn’t quite enough to stop the cloudwater all season DDH pale take a respectable 3rd place.
I think everyone will say that they were surprised that Timmy Taylor got this far in the comp. but it has made a few of us question ourselves and go back and taste a beer again to change old perceptions.
All I can say is thanks to everyone who suggested their favourite beers to be included. And also everyone that voted and made some of the match banter hilarious.
