Resealable caps.

Anyone used these?.

Ive been using them and found one or two to leak and not seal properly.

What's everyone using?. I have used proper caps in the past, but was using that crude tool that fits over the cap and tap them on with a hammer.

Might invest in a double handle squeeze on type or look into those long handle vice style ones.

Screw tops look like having the best seal but I like using glass bottles.

Bottle capper (the one you mentioned is fine) but takes a lot of messing around with, hence the crude tool you mentioned finishes em off with normal caps. But you only need to do that once - I've no idea how long normal caps work for, I am still using mine 6 months on and they are still going strong =)

Yep. That's the one I use, too.
I used a hammer-on capper for ages, ie years. Only every had two bottles break. I've still got two of them in case of emergency.

I couldn't find the one on wilko. If it the tap on style ill give it a miss, tried them and hard work. I like the two lever one there...steady to use?.

To be honest although i run them down they work ok once you get the knack with them. Great as a back up.

Rock solid. The wilko wing capper with the plastic handles is awful.

Here's the late great Old Fart doing a review. The capper will do Hobgoblin bottles but you have to give it a harder squeeze. When I've got my bottles lined up on the floor with the caps placed on top I can do them at a rate of just under 2 seconds a bottle. As I bottle I put on a (yes, sanitised) cap and line them up by the side of me.

Me too. Capped everything I’ve thrown at it for the last 2 and a half years.
