I have a couple of really dodgy cornie lids and I have lost patience with them. Does anyone know where I can get replacements? I have looked at a few sites but cannot seem to find them. :wha:

I've used Candirect in Germany for my lids exclusively....why...the price

http://www.novanorm.net/ec-shop/index.html

part number 78491919...nc jolly series lid....euro12.97 inc new prv

New lids VERY cheap. The service is excellent but it takes a bit of getting used to...the ordering process.
Basically fill your cart and check out for a total price to pay.
Then pay direct to their e-mail address using Pay Pal and your gear will turn up very soon.
I've had excellent customer services from Stefan...once used to the order process

Hello i have placed an order with Candirect i think very strange payment methods.Trying to pay with paypal but what is the email address to send money too. Also i got a thankyou when submiting the order but do they send an email confirming your order ?

Cheers Vossi that's it paid. Bought 16 red oversized lid seals & a few PRV's not cheap with the Euro being almost worth a pound  .I have been having problems with some lid seals not sealing prorerly after venting. This is one problem i am finding when using cornies to serve beer through beer engines. :) :)

Hello all just wondering how long you order normally takes to arrive from Candirect. One of my cornies won't seal properly at the moment being served at low pressure by beer engine.

rab, that'll most likely be your O-ring on the lid. cornies dont seal well at low pressures.

you could change it for one of a softer compound though ;)

Vossy has a link to them somewhere i'm sure :thumb:

Cheers Brewstew i have 16 softer red ones ordered from Candirect just wondering how long they normally take to arrive. :thumb:

One of my orders arrived in 3 days, the other just over a week...not long now Rab...patience :D
Stefan is pretty efficient IME
I need a load of gear from him at the mo but I won't pay the prices with the exchange rate..for the mo

Hello all i am sitting here drinking my coffee & eating my German chocolate from Candirect lovely.

I got a cake of German milk chocolate. I thought the seals would have been thicker they look the same thickness as the black seals that were already on the lids.I have changed them over in all my full kegs & purged the air space again so we shall see.I have just cleaned my 2 beer engines so i am just about to give them a try.
