well, after forking our a grand for a potting shed for her i thought she would play ball 🙄

£50 seemed a little too good to pass up so onwards and upwards
Meh, just order one anyway.

Hi Relin,
If you can't get control flow taps, go for the Intertap's (BTK) with a 3/16 reducer into their 3/8" John Guest fitting on the shanks, I have those. The flow is greatly reduced and therefore controlled, and a bit cheaper also. BTK are really busy and stock is arriving every few days but they have great comm's and will updated you all the way (I have just received my 2nd keg kit, and have gone down the cheap (free) fridge and drilled through sides route)

Just realized I wandered down the Serial Killer rabbit hole …… BTK...no no, Brew Keg Tap!!aheadbutt i'll get me coat!:coat:

ok scratch that, i’ve found an upright fridge (the missus chucked a wobbly over the price of the other one :s) for £50 so looks like i’m going to try and build one! any suggestions for faucets etc ?

thanks for the help!
Can highly recommend Brewkegtap homepage for all your needs. I started with their premium two keg kit with stainless flow control Intertaps and took it from there adding a third tap, secondary regulators, more kegs etc. Premium Kegerator Kit (2 kegs) + Premium Regulator Offer PREORDER

Some photos and stuff here: Corny Keg Habit

Anyone have any clue why there seems to be no Ball Lock gas disconnects with John Guest connectors ANYWHERE?! The only place i can find to buy them is from China with a delivery time of over a month?! Help appreciated :)

I ordered some recently but wasnt in a hurry for them so bought on ebay (maybe amazon?) from China as they were a lot cheaper than everywhere else. ETA was 6 -8 weeks, they arrived in 8 days!

Have you tried the-beer-tap-shop on ebay

I have found that a lot of companies are saying weeks for delivery to be on the safe side and items are arriving quickly.

+1 for BKT service, advice etc. Great company to deal with, and Jonny is great with Comms!!

And buggering around with temperature controls etc, and finding out you have gone through the wrong part. I dont have the time to build, i would rather be brewing in what little spare time i have

Just started my project build, and after looking at many chest freezers, I finally found one that can double as a fridge or freezer, so no dealing with temp controllers etc. It’s an Indesit brand. Yes there’s gonna be a little DIY for the collar but essentially that’s it. It will fit four 19L corny kegs comfortably and two 9L cornys on the shelf part.

Update....

I have an indesit one - very versatile with the cooling function as opposed to freezing option

Let me know if you find a chalk pen that actually comes off, each one i have had as resulted in a re-paint

My wife has had the same problem on stuff she has painted before BUT i think i know why. Having watched a few tutorials today apparently you have to "prime" the surface for writing. After the blackboard paint has dried you need to rub the side of a white chalk all over the surface, leave for 60 seconds and then rub off. I think this may be what makes you be able to remove the chalk afterwards!

Give it a go and let me know.
I have reverted to normal chalk but was going to buy some black kitchen tiles and stick them on so I can write on those.
