I got a 22mm deep socket from Halfords for just this purpose - my kegs are all AEB.
I also take care not to tighten the posts too much because there is very little thread on the keg and stripping it would be irreparable.
I recall seeing somewhere that the poppet valves can’t be taken apart for cleaning - I meant to look for some replacements to have on hand but haven’t needed one yet. I use a spare connector to vent or drain the dip tube as needed.I also use a deep 22mm socket & just nip them up. The O ring does not require anything more than finger tight to seal, so light torque from a socket is fine.

I have AEB kegs and the poppet is held in by a spring 'spider' which seems to go in with a push but then cannot be removed without destroying it.
