Completely new to wine making so looking for recommendations as to a couple good reliable kit for a newbie to start off with. I like cab sauv style red wines and she likes fairly dry whites. Any suggestions appreciated.

Any of the California connoisseur kits are a good shout, they're damn fine wines and really easy to do.

I have tried the Solomon Grundy 5 bottle 7 day kits but have not tried the Red, i was impressed with the Rose.

We are currently drinking a Wilko Pinot Grigio. Wife is a white drinker-and we both agree it is rather good. Red-wise, take advice from someone else here!
