Recipe not followed

Is there any one else out there like me lol
I have never followed a recipe since my 2nd ag brew my first was a made up kit to get the feel of it
But since then I look and say yep I'm making that and only at last minute say no way I'm doing thus that and God knows what else

Yeah pretty much the same but I do plan what I do through brewfather first and stick with it on brew day

I still didn't get into software I just read hop profiles and yeast and try and match them only 3 bad brews in a year 2 were infected one very bad tasting and milky other I tried tonight has same awful flavour but very clear makes me wonder

Me too, not even put it to the app. I've brewed with rice, taste at the end of the fermentation, and dry hopped according the description and smell of the hops. Not very balanced, but it's ok, and very strong.
Other than experimenting there's always a malt miller kit in the 2nd fermenter, found them very convenient.
