Hi All,

I am just starting out on my All Grain journey using an all in one system and I am looking for some help with recipes.

I have recently won a competition where I receive free grain, hops and yeast for 12 brews.

Having not done any all grain brews I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some All grain recipes with me so I can claim my prize.

I am looking at brewing around 23 liters and I am into American IPA, golden Ales, IPA and hoppy types of beers

Hope this request is ok, and you are able to help me with some nice recipes to try.

I am a newbie too... Just tried BeerCats no boil wheat beer.. Its tidy, and I found the recipe really straightforward l.

From my somewhat recent experience, the best way to burn through your winnings would be to make a Meantime London IPA clone. IPAs "should" just have enough of a malty backbone to support the hops. Meantime London IPA though is brutally malty for an IPA.... it's all wrong, but I absolutely love it. I made a clone last year and it was especially expensive since it used Munich Malt. Here are the basics for what produced about 23 litres:
Grist:
  • 5.0 kg Munich Type 1 Malt Crushed/Milled (12-18 EBC)
  • 2.0 kg Pilsner Malt Crushed/Milled (2.5-4 EBC)
  • 1.0 kg Wheat Malt Crushed/Milled (3 EBC)
  • 1.0 kg Cara Munich Type 1 Malt Crushed/Milled (140-160 EBC)
Hop(s) and other added to boil:
  • 100g Fuggles (A/A 4.7%), vacuum packed, pellets
  • 100g East Kent Goldings (A/A 5.0%), vacuum packed, pellets
  • 6g Irish Moss
Boil Schedule:
  • 60 minutes from finish - add 60g of Fuggles
  • 60 minutes from finish - add 60g of East Kent Goldings
  • 15 minutes from finish - add 20g of Fuggles
  • 15 minutes from finish - add 20g of East Kent Goldings
  • 15 minutes from finish - add 6g of Irish Moss
  • 5 minutes from finish - add 20g of Fuggles
  • 5 minutes from finish - add 20g of East Kent Goldings
Yeast: TWO Safeale US-05 packets

90 minute mash (BIAB) and 90 minute boil
OG: 1.068
FG: 1.018
IBU: 62
ABV: 6.6% (this is actually a bit less than Meantime London IPA. I think it's ~7.4%)

Will definitely be giving this one a go, thanks for the recipe
