I see, ok, I slightly misunderstood it.
But even so, each one of those small bottles is kept for 6 months and they are still viable?

Of course, after 6-8 months the viability will be much lower but all you'd need to do after this much time is 2-4 step ups to 'grow' more yeast and increase the viability

They are still viable provided there is no contamination, as there will be some dormant yeast cells from which a fresh batch of yeast can be grown.
