whats everybody's take on priming sugar, how much do you use for a 5 gallon batch.

I use Brewers Friend priming calculator. Free and really easy. Plus you can enter exactly how much your bottling and to what level of carbonation you want.

Same for me, hasn't let me down yet although the guidelines on the page for Stout are on the high side for my tastes.
