Coronation Street star Roy Barraclough dies aged 81

The actor made a number of brief appearances in Coronation Street throughout the 1960s and 70s, before becoming a regular face on the cobbles from 1986 until 1992, and returning again in 1996 for two years.

I remember him in Pardon my genie as Mr Cobbledick, early 70s.

One episode just telling some one ( I think he was chinese) his name took 5 minutes

"my name is Cobbledick" so the guy then called him Cobblewick

So he then says No NO it's ****

Ah Mr **** Cobble wick, now I have it!
Hilarious., became a running joke as I remember
