Just got a quicky(extract) Kiwi fruit witbier on the go,small batch-6 litres.Had the extract to use so went for it.A bit experimental!.
40 min boil 5 litres
500 grm wheat spray malt
175 gm light spray malt
60 grms Carahell steeped at 65c for 30 mins
10 gm saaz pellets 40 mins
6 gm saaz pellets at 80c
7 gm curacao peel and 4 grm crushed corriander seeds at 10 min
1/4 protofloc tablet at 15 mins
1/2 pack WB-06 re hydrated
top up FV to 6 litres
Expected abv 4.55% approx
300 grms frozen Kiwi fruit to add at day 4 for 7 days
 
Sounds interesting. Haven't tried a kiwi beer.

Adapted a recipie from a book,was going to do all grain as i had everything i needed in that,but had the extract so thought may as well use it.
OG was 1.042 and was expecting 1.040 so happy with that.
 
That's pretty close to target. Let us know how it gets on.

Will do. Have done two ordinary witbiers before,both extract and both along the same recipie lines,except no kiwi!
