Just want to check that the percentage of Alpha Acid simply correlates to bitterness and has no effect on the aroma. The reason I am asking is, the recipe for my next brew (Effin Lancashire Blonde) states Styrian Goldings at 4% AA, however the Styrian Goldings I have are at 5.2% AA. Now I have no problems in changing the weight of the hops to correct the IBU, I just wanted to double check that you stick with the same weight of aroma hops that it states in the recipe?

Hope that makes sense :wha:

 :D
