Hi!

We've been drilling some holes in our hops filter today... My question is about how many holes to drill. I know this has come up here before but I can't find the thread. So.. We've done three lines of 2mm holes. Do we need more and where? We could drill all over the thing but won't we create more deadspace by doing so?

if your going to use pellet hops you would probably need a fine mesh filter or do as we do let the pellet hops go through and use a steel sieve before the wort goes in the fermenter

Thanks a lot guys! The hops filter was the last piece in the puzzle after nearly 12 months of scratching heads, ordering (as much as we could afford at a time), drilling, boring, filing, sealing etc etc.. cant wait to finally get brewing!
