Seriously. A beer I brewed back in JUNE is still not even remotely clear! Arrrgghh! US05 I love thee and I hate thee.

I've used it regularly recently and no problems, it can be a beastie in the FV though, had a couple of overflows :!:

Oh its a great yeast. Just a complete bugger to get it to drop bright. I have finished two brews that I made after the US05 brews and used T58 in.... the latter is in danger of becoming my favorite yeast!

Was thinking about using 05 in my next IPA, see how it turns out.
Do you bottle or keg ? I always bottle and my beer is clear after a week!

That was my understanding of a blue moon and it happens every two or three years. Anyway back to topic :hmm: The last time I used US05 it seemed fine but it was a mild and never used it since. I tend to use Notty most of the time.

This is in a keg. I've only recently started to bottle and it does seem to accelerate things a bit.
