I find that American Pale ales can be the quickest to get to drinking stage. The fastest I have done is 1 week primary, 1 week secondary, 3 days cold conditioning and 4 days force carbing. So in total 3 weeks, and it tasted good

My first AG bitter ( MO plus a little crystal and torri wheat with S04) was fermenting from Saturday to thursday, by the following monday was reasonably clear, ie small haze and by wednesday ( tonight ! ) fully clear and mellowing to quite drinkable. 11 days, I was very surprised.

That's an amasing turn around time ! ...and it sounds like one on the trophy mantlepiece. :drink:
