I just want to give a quick big up to the forum sponsor.

I ordered some steriliser from them on monday ready for my brewday on Friday night/Sat am.

I got a call yesterday appologising that there had been a mix up and my stuff was going to someone else.
No problem i said as long as i have my parcel by Friday. The promised that i would and as far as i can tell it is in transit from ireland to me to be here tomorrow. You get a text message from the delivery company telling you which hour the parcel will be deilivered so i await the starsan tomorrow.

This morning a package arrived though... full of grain and a couple of other things. I called them and they said they would arrange pick up. I got a call a little later saying that if i wanted it i can hang on to it as a sorry.

Ok i know they mucked up and i have to wait an extra 2 days for my stuff but their customer service is great. they spotted the problem and fixed it imediatly. I havent had to spend all day running around to chase them up as i would for other companies i wont mention.

Deffo worth a look if you want to pick up some home brewing gear... well you are here so i suppose you will want to!

I also just ordered some things and they are really good. All the stuff is well packaged really fast delivery usually 2 days after your ordered online. Most of their prices are the cheapest I have found online and also the delivery cost is really fair.

I concur! I ordered a load of stuff the other weekend, and it arrived by Thursday. I received a text in the morning, saying it would be delivered at a certain time in the early afternoon. Unfortunately, I was out, but the driver did a second delivery later in the afternoon and I got my stuff! So while the text was a bit last minute (that's down to the courier, not thehomebrewcompany) the courier was excellent. The prices are excellent at thehomebrewshop and so are the deliver costs, especially if you are ordering a lot and can really take advantage of the flat rate delivery charge.
Big thumbs up - highly recommended!

Dennis

The best is the free delivery if your order is over £65 which is easily done alone or with some friends togther.

although i think your on about the home brew company , id just like to add the malt miller have good prices and have excellent service (order at night time and you get your order 36 hours later) but most of all excellent quality grains and a large selection (i like wits and wheats and true german grains aren't easy to get) , top work Rob at the malt miller :thumb:

+1 :thumb:

Placed an order with them a few weeks ago, got a phone call following day to say that they were short 0.5kg of rye did I want a refund or exchange, proper customer service.

Also very apologetic that their printer was playing up and that some of the labels would be hand written !!

I can thoroughly recommend 'The Homebrew Company'
