Following up on my previous thread about 10l size storage.

Are there any well made/good quality 10/12litre plastic beer barrels?

Mine are very very old (1980's) and I should probably replace them but the new ones I've seen don't appear to be as good.

I've finally retired my old Boots barrels, the best of a bad bunch, after coming to same conclusion.
After trying 10L minikegs and 19L cornys there is no going back, they are just so more convenient and reliable.

Man a 10litre Corny. I have two 19l Cornys but I'm after the simplicity of barrels.

:) :) :)

I don't drink enough to make messing with regulators, gas, beer lines and taps attractive. I use the 19 litre kegs to condition beers that need months then bottle.

thanks John

I effectively use 9.5L corny kegs like a stainless steel pressure barrel I prime with sugar, and keep in a relatively cool but unrefrigerated location, while you do need a gas source to dispense when you aren’t using it to carbonate a soda stream cylinder works pretty well.
