Purchasing cock up

I accidently bought fresh yeast for next weekends brew, and can’t do it any sooner.
Is the yeast a goner, or is there any way I can store it for 10 days or so?

Like mick says, stick it in the fridge. 3 days before your ready to pitch stick it in a starter

If they are small bags, you could carry a kilo or so in a backpack every evening. If you start with the ones for the next brew, it could be done over a few weeks, without major impact?
