Hello all - a friend of mine wants to join the home brew fun, and is looking to do a punked IPA style beer, can anyone suggest a kit which will produce something similar to this?

Any help much appreciated!!

Cheers for the input so far - I thought of a Youngs IPA, I brewed one before Christmas, and it's excellent, although more Goose Island than punked I feel. I think Maltmillers might not be the best for a first time brewer?

Not unless he is comfortable mashing grain, sparging, boiling etc!

I saw this tonight - but it is steep, and appears to entail a brew in a Demi john so you don't get a lot of beer for your buck!!

Yeah I think the brewdog kit is 6 1/2 pints maybe pushing 7. Pretty expensive for what you are getting.

I don't buy anything Brewdog any more. Dick Turpin of the craft beer scene!
