Just in the process of upgrading my kegorator. Currently have one beer tap and a single gas feed. Just upgraded to 3 beer taps and a 4 gas feeds via a 4 way gas manifold. I have space for four kegs in my fridge.
I tried to get the gas splitter in my fridge initially but realised it was too cramped, all the hoses were being bent and the whole lot seemed to leak. (Even with jubilee clips very tight on the barbs). I've since read on here the gas lines need to be very straight off the barbs and not too bent to ensure a good connection.
Consequently I've moved my gas board out of the fridge now. The gas lines are under far less tension.
I've managed to acquire some Oetiker clips and some PTFE liquid (advised by a patient of mine who works with gas lines). Has anyone used either of these? Any top tips for gas connections? Using grey gas line and 1/4 barbs (I think).
Many thanks
