Royal wedding planners have revealed that the taxpayer will not foot the bill for 'core aspects' of the ceremony - but the Royal Family will instead 'pick up the tab'.

As details of the ceremony emerged this afternoon it was revealed they will be paying for the church service, which will be held at the historic St George's Chapel in Windsor.

And they will also cough up for music, flowers, decorations and the wedding reception.

There is no word yet on who will be paying for the security, media staging and other costs likely to be associated with such an event
