I just bottled a Muntons Gold Docklands Porter. The kit instructions suggested light spray malt for priming, so I used dark spray malt, which was what I had.
Gosh! This stuff is really hygroscopic! My usual method of measuring spoon and funnel got really claggy very quickly. Is there a trick I should know? And should I keep the now open pack of spray malt in the freezer?

The trick you are looking for is not to use spray malt for priming in the first place in spite of what the instructions advise, just use table sugar. You will hardly notice the difference, if at all, and you will then probably question whether it was worth all the faff.
And if you keep your spray malt in a sealed poly bag with as much air excluded as you can get that's fine. I certainly don't keep my DME once opened in the freezer. Nonetheless I wouldn't be keeping it for months after its opened

OK, I have always used plain old table sugar(or sometimes brown sugar) in the past, jsut though I'd try the spray malt, as it was suggested in the instructions. Maybr Muntons just want to sell more spray malt...
