I'm curious about you water chemistry additions... what are they? Did you work out what to add from your water report? I've not ventured into this area yet and just go with tap water but am thinking it might be the next thing to look at.
 
Yes I got a water report from United Utilities used the average figures. I also did a hardness test using a safert water chemistry tester used for aquariums. Then I just feed the figures into the water chemistry calculator in the forum calculators (top left menu bar) put in a few facts about style, volumes and Daves your uncle it tells me what to add when. Not hard really. Does it make a diffference probably but never not done it so I can't compare. :lol:

I didn't know there was one for that. I'm going to look into it as it seems to me that water is a fairly significant part of any recipe. :thumb:

Yes it is easy enough to use you just have to test for water hardness and give it in the right units and measurement. :thumb: :thumb:
