No I don't think so, plus if it was beer clean they wouldn't be hanging around.
It would only take 20 minutes and less water with a bucket blaster.I use one table spoon of sodium perborate dissolved in warm water and added to the fermenter 12 hours later clean as a whistle, no scrubbing required.

I use the same method on the Juniors and Chubby.
If you look at the opening post, the problem was cleaning the keg king chubby, which has a very small opening.I'm sure I can wash and clean and sanitize a keg in less than 20 minutes using water cloth then starsan
What if you can't get your hand in?I'm sure I can wash and clean and sanitize a keg in less than 20 minutes using water cloth then starsan
If it was stainless I'd use hot PBW recirculated with pump and spray ball. Plus take any clamps and valves off if Tri clamps and clean separately. What if you can't get your hand in?
What if it is stainless steel and there are parts inside that you can't see?
As I said the opening post was regarding A PET FERMENTER WITH A SMALL OPENING THAT HE COULDN'T GET HIS HAND INIf it was stainless I'd use hot PBW recirculated with pump and spray ball. Plus take any clamps and valves off if Tri clamps and clean separately.
I realised that, don't have a SS conical and only pet fermenters. As I said the opening post was regarding A PET FERMENTER WITH A SMALL OPENING THAT HE COULDN'T GET HIS HAND IN
