Some people use something similar to fill ottles or growlers with carbed beer from a corny keg - I believe they try to minimise disturbing the beer, and keep the gas in. No idea if people pour pints like that.

If I carb my beer right, keep it cool and tilt my glass, I always get a smooth pour
Just had a sample tonight 80g sugar to 22 ish litre barrel
And it shot out
Thought I might have to find an easy way
But that's at 20 degrees in press
So maybe a week in fridge will calm it ??
You can of course release some of the pressure by unscrewing the cap a little until you hear a hiss (then tighten again quickly). That usually calms my PBs down for the first few pints...
